Lenovo Moto M arrives at the UAE with stock Android inside; model is compatible with U.S. carriers
The Lenovo Moto M launched slightly over two weeks ago in China with the XT1662 model number. Today, the phone has turned up in the UAE with a model number of XT1664. This variant features a stock version of Android, and Lenovo tell us that the unlocked phone will work with most U.S. carriers including Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint.

The XT1664 offers a model with 3GB of RAM/32GB of internal storage, along with one sporting the 4GB of RAM/64GB of internal storage found on the XT1662. A 128 capacity microSD slot is available for those seeking additional storage. A hybrid dual nano SIM tray includes one tray that doubles as the microSD slot, and a Type-C USB port is on board.
A16MP rear-facing camera carries an f/2.0 aperture and PDAF auto focus, while the 8MP front-facing snapper comes with beautification software to make your selfies look great. Pictures can be housed for two-years on Google Photos at their original quality. A rear-facing fingerprint scanner allows you to unlock your phone and verify your identity with just a fingertip. The 3050mAh battery offers a rapid recharge system, and P2i's nano-coating protects the Moto M from specs and light rain.
