T-Mobile president and CEO John Legere has a crusade against the top two wireless carriers in the U.S., which he calls "Dumb and Dumber." Yes, the executive is currently focusing his acidic wit on Verizon and AT&T. Today, the unconventional Legere posted a hilarious Christmas Carol knock off on his Twitter page. In the clip, Scrooge represents Verizon (which is easy to determine thanks to the Verizon check mark on his night cap) and is awakened by a shadowy figure. "Are you the ghost of Christmas future?," he asks. "No dumb-ass. The LG V20 might be one of the most underrated smartphones of the year. The handset packs in a tremendous amount of power and features, but LG kind of shot itself in the foot with the release of the phone. In addition to being falsely advertised as the first phone to run Android Nougat, its release during the same window of the iPhone 7 also wasn't the best move that we've ever seen. As we already know, Samsung is hard at work with the major Android 7 Nougat update for the  Galaxy S7  and  S7 edge . And some lucky users have already had the chance to enroll in a  beta testing program for the new software . It is through them that we learned of a new feature headed for the Galaxies — a resolution switcher hidden inside the phone's settings! The toggle allows users to pick one of three modes for the display — HD (720 x 1280), FHD (1080 x 1920), and QHD (1440 x 2560). Yes, we've seen this menu before — it was on the  Note 7 . But since it's, sadly, gone now, the S7 twins are the phones that will carry Sammy's new battery-saving feature. So, since there are so many different people out there demanding different things from their phones, we thought we'd ask you — how do you intend to utilize this feature? QHD resolution (1440 x 2560) has become somewhat of a standard for Android flagships in the past couple of years. Ever since it became mainstream, users have been divided into two groups — those who think such a crisp resolution is overkill on a relatively small, smartphone display and places a needless burden on the device's hardware; and those who love the super-dense resolution and are all for it. Earlier this year, when it first released the  Galaxy S7  and  Galaxy S7 edge  in the US, Samsung gave away free Gear VR headsets with both smartphones. Now, the company is getting ready to bring back this offer as part of its  Black Friday series of deals . A couple of days ago, we reported that Samsung is pegged to be working  on a new 'glossy black' color variant for its Galaxy S7/S7 edge . To be honest the Onyx Black crop of Galaxies is already rather glossy but is it obviously not glossy enough for Samsung. In case you've been wondering how much glossier these can become, then lucky you, a leaked trove of real-life pictures originating from Weibo gives us a pretty good sneak peek at the new color version will look like and compare it with the existing Onyx Black one. While it's not easy to discern if Samsung is using a new hue of black or not, it is quite easy to spot that the new device sports a stealthy and quite appealing matte black metal frame on its side. That's unlike the regular Onyx Black Galaxy S7/S7 edge, which has a grey-colored metal side frame. We feel that Samsung should have applied this paint job to the Galaxy S7 from the very beggining, but better late than never, right? ...

Available in the US  and other markets since earlier this week, the  BlackBerry DTEK60  is a high-end smartphone that costs less than your typical high-end handset from major companies. The DTEK60 is priced at $499 unlocked, and offers quite a lot for that kind of money, including an aluminum and glass body, a 5.5-inch Quad HD screen, a Snapdragon 820 CPU, 4 GB of RAM, and so on.  In a video interview, BlackBerry COO Marty Beard said that the company's "very proud" of the DTEK60, and that the handset can go head to head with other 5.5-inch phones like the  iPhone 7 Plus  and  Google Pixel XL . In fact, Marty Beard argues that the DTEK60 has some advantages.
