With rumors circulating that Pokemon GO for the Apple Watch had been scrapped, Niantic disseminated a tweet on Saturday saying that the popular game will be coming to Apple's timepiece soon. Depending on what Niantic means as soon, the promise it made to release the Pokemon GO app for the Apple Watch before the end of the year might be in peril. The Pokemon GO app for Apple Watch is designed to keep players from having to stare at their iPhone screen all day. It gives Pokemon trainers an idea of where they are in the game and alerts them when a Pokemon is nearby. It is supposed to have the same functionality as the Pokemon GO Plus accessory that can be purchased for $35. That device won't be shipped until next year. Super Mario Run is a phenomenon. We're still not totally sure if it's a great game or not, but people have obviously been starved for Nintendo and Mario games on smartphones, so the game is hugely popular and generating a ton of cash for Nintendo. However, the server problems may be causing the game to eat through data. Testing has shown that Super Mario Run can use up anywhere from 40 to 60 megabytes of data per hour which can add up fast. If you were to play the game for a couple hours a day, it would only take about two weeks to use up 5 gigabytes of data. So, users have to be careful about when and where they play. Good ol' Mega Man Legendary Japanese video game developer Capcom announced that next year will see the release of all classic Mega Man titles on mobile. All of the Blue Bomber's iconic NES adventures will land on both iOS and Android in Japan in 2017. The press release makes no mention of the games coming to the West, but we'd say there's a big chance this happens sometime following the Japanese release. We're all anxious to get out hands on the  Super Mario Run  game for iOS devices, but that won't happen until December 15, according to Nintendo. Well, it looks like there's a way to quench that thirst for playing the beloved platformer, but only if you don't bother playing an unofficial game featuring iconic Nintendo characters. Zelda and Mario are just two of the characters present in Stars Utopia, an iOS game that accidentally made it to the App Store. Published and/or developed by someone who goes by the name Coline Wang, Stars Utopia is available for free. It features 3D graphics and comes with over 100 classic characters from all universes. Last month we reported that  TellTale Games might be making a Guardians of the Galaxy game . And since it was just a rumor, we kept our fingers crossed, eagerly waiting for an official confirmation. And confirmed it was, fellow mobile gamers. Yesterday, at the stage of The Game Awards, TellTale showed us a tiny teaser, featuring Star-Lord's iconic portable tape player slowly drifting through space. Word is Niantic plans to add the ability to trade Pokemon between players, but the developer hasn't yet confirmed when exactly the new feature will be available in Pokemon GO. A new rumor claims Niantic will release a major  Pokemon GO update  in December, which will add the long-awaited feature, as well as over 100 new normal and Legendary Pokemon. Players will also be able to raise their Pokemon as soon as they have been hatched from the eggs.  The information comes from the analysis of the game's code by people associated with web scanner PokeVS. Although it's not surprising that some of these features will be introduced into the game, it remains to be seen when exactly  Niantic  will announce them. Among the new  Legendary Pokemon  that developer will add in a future update there's Mew and Mewtwo. The fourth installment in the immensely popular Modern Combat series of first-person  shooters (FPS) for mobile devices can now be yours for just a dollar on Android, down from its usual $6.99. Modern Combat (MC) is an ongoing series of FPS games for Android and iOS, featuring some of the most influential representatives of the genre on mobile. Heavily borrowing from Call of Duty games, MC titles manage to implement a lot of what makes first-person shooters on the PC and consoles great, including online multiplayer, while scaling the experience down for smaller screens. Mafia is one of the most  series  in the gaming industry and that's probably one of the reasons 2K, the owner of the franchise, decided to revive it with the launch of the third title. The new Mafia III made it to PC and consoles on October 7, but it didn't get the same great reviews its predecessor received many years ago.
